What is Iraqi samoon bread?

Samoon is the everyday bread of Iraq. It is a diamond shaped loaf with a crisp golden crust and a soft, chewy inside, traditionally baked in a stone oven. We bake it fresh in house through the day and sell it by the four pack. It is the bread we use for every sandwich at the hot food counter.

Is the meat halal?

Yes. Everything at our meat counter and everything we cook at the hot food counter is halal. We buy from halal suppliers and cut it here to order.

Do you accept SNAP and EBT?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we accept SNAP EBT for eligible grocery items such as bread, meat, produce and pantry goods. Hot prepared food from the counter is not eligible under SNAP rules. We also take cash, debit and credit cards.

Do you deliver?

We do not offer delivery right now. Call (586) 722-7555 and we will have your order packed and waiting at the register for quick pickup.

Do you cater?

Yes. We prepare trays of shawarma, kabob, rice and salads for family gatherings, office lunches and events. Call a day ahead for large orders so we can have everything hot and ready.
